CABIN INFO & RATES
Thank you for your interest in our cabins. We have 4 beautiful cabins to chose from here at the Mystic Moose. Our two older cabins have been recently renovated while our other 2 were newly constructed about 9 years ago. The 2 newly renovated cabins have new furnaces, kitchen stoves and microwaves. New cupboards were installed in the Wolf Den. The Critter cabin just had a beautifull addition built, to add over 200 sq. feet of more living area and a new bathroom. All of our kitchens are set up and fully equipped for your use. We do encourage you to bring your own bath and kitchen linens, but we do have some available if necessary. All of our beds are completly made up with sheets blankets and pillows.
The Area around Mystic Moose is very quiet and peaceful. All our cabins have wonderful screen porches for relaxing. We have swings, chairs, hammocks and bonfire pit…wood is supplied. Mystic Moose also has gas grills for each cabin and a fish cooker available. We have many flower gardens for you to look at. Evening star gazing is a must. Watch the beautiful bald Eagles sore just clear of the tree tops. You will never experience what you see up here in the city. It's amazing!!! Cabin #1: Bear Den
A newly constructed log-type, 2 bedroom cabin. The cabin has a nice living room with a sofa sleeper, satellite TV and VCR. There is a nice sized modern bath. two large bedrooms that sleeps up to 8 people. You will enjoy the large screen porch. This cabin is next to the water and is available year round. ADA compliant.
 
Cabin #2: Wolf Den
An older cabin, which just had a new face lift inside and out. The remodeling project was completed in May 2006. This cabin has a new completly remodeled kitchen, with new cupboards. New bath with a large shower. Two newly carpeted bedrooms with full and twin sized beds. The living room is completly changed and enlarged. The sofa also makes into a full sized bed for extra guests. Relax in the new screen porch overlooking the water. Sleeps up to 8 persons. Note: The new interior is finished in a northwoods knotty pine. You will enjoy this cabin. Remember all of our cabins have satilite TV. High speed wireless internet is also available on the property at N.C. ADA compliant.
 
 
With the newly remodeled Wolf Den cabin where you will experience a little bit of the old and a little bit of the new. This two bedroon cabin will sleep up to 6. We hope you like it.
Cabin #3: Moose House
A very spacious 3 bedroom cabin with kitchen, living room, fireplace, large bedrooms, and modern bath facilities. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the major appliances and including the coffee maker (drip type). Enjoy the new flat screen TV with many channels of satellite viewing, or use the DVD. This cabin has a large screen porch. The cabin overlooks the entire waterfront. The Moose House was constructed 9 year ago with fire safety in mind. It is totally equiped with a fire sprinkler system and will sleep up to 11 persons comfortably. Enjoy this cabin year round. ADA compliant.
* A second bathroom can be opened up for groups over 6.
 
 
Cabin #4: Critter Cabin
The new Critter Cabin. Well, half new. We just added a nice size addition in May of 2005, which includes a nice size family room and a large screen porch. The beautiful knotty pine interior on the addition gives you that northwoods look and feel. We also installed a new roof and new vinly siding. A very neat, older 2 bedroom cabin that you will find very comfortable. The cabin is set back just a little ways from the water for privacy. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, stove, refrigerator microwave, coffee pot (drip) & toster. This cabin has 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom. The living room has with Satellite TV. futon and a sofa. Both bedrooms have a new full sized bed with a twin over top. (bunk beds) Sleeps up to 6 persons. You will enjoy this cabin.

*All cabins are priced for up to 4 persons. Cabins are rented on Saturday to Saturday, June-August. All other dates September-May are a 2 night minimum. Children under 12 are half price. Children under 2 are free.

Pets
We do accept small pets in the Wolf Den and the Critter Cabin. Small is defined as a pet under 25 lbs. Weekly or short stay pet rates are $75 per pet. Our two other cabins the Moose House and the Bear Den will remain pet free.

Deposits
Deposits of $250.00 are required per cabin on weekly rentals. $100.00 deposit is required on short term stays. CANCELLATION POLICY 75% of your deposit can be transfered to another date (within one year) providing the change is done 60 days prior to your reserved date. VISA and MasterCard accepted.
Check In/Out
JUNE - AUG. Check in time is 3 PM and check out time is 9 AM. SEPT. - MAY You may check out later or check in earlier but please call to make arrangements.
Check out. There are no refunds given for early check outs.
